  • What does RAISE stand for?
    • RAISE stands for respectful, academic, inclusive, secular, and experiential. It is our goal that our co-op embodies these five words.
  • How much does it cost?
    • Academic Day dues are $75 per learner per semester for the first two learners in a family. Dues for families with three or more learners pay $75 for the first two learners and $50 per learner for each subsequent learner per semester. There is an additional $10 supply fee per learner per semester.
    • Social Day dues are $25 per family for the year. Families that participate in our Academic Day are welcome and encouraged to participate in our Social Day at no additional cost.
    • Purchasing the necessary curriculum and books is the responsibility of each family. We do our best to keep this cost low.
    • Field trips and other costs throughout the year will be split between participants as needed.
  • Where do you meet?
    • RAISE meets in the Grogan’s Mill area in The Woodlands, Texas. To maintain our privacy, we only share the specific meeting location to the active members in our community.
  • What is an Academic Day?
    • Academic Days are structured learning opportunities for the community. History, science, and novel study will be covered each Academic Day with breaks for outdoor play and lunch. Learn more on our Academic Day page!
  • What is a Social Day?
    • Social Days are opportunities for the RAISE community to enjoy a wide range of activities and social time. Learn more on our Social Day page!
  • Can I drop my Learner off?
    • No, our co-op is a community and Learning Partners should be on site and available to assist their Learner should the need arise. Many Learning Partners prefer to attend and observe class with their Learner.
  • Are there any other activities RAISE offers?
    • RAISE offers various clubs and add on activities to our members. RAISE members have participated in an Art Club, DnD Club led by a local Dungeon Master, Parenting Support Club, and lab classes at HMNS to name a few. Each activity varies in price and location.
